Ukazoo story time is back

I recently heard from the new story time person at Ukazaoo books. Apparently the story time had been on hiatus but is back and better than ever. Wednesdays at 10:30. Free snack and juice!

It's easy to recycle in the city and county

To find out what you can recycle and when it gets picked up, visit the recycling sites of Baltimore County or Baltimore City. (~~Did you know they don't recycle pizza boxes or yogurt containers?~~ They do now!)

You can also learn there how to recycle electronics, such as old VCRs, cell phones and computers, which are full of toxins that are best left out of the trash.

Plastic bags can be recycled at most grocery stores, and batteries and compact flourescent bulbs can be recycled at Ikea (the bins are located near the returns counter).
