Christmas caroling on Dec. 22 in Rodgers Forge

On December 22 at 4:30, a group of carolers will gather outside in the 200 block of Regester Avenue, continue on Regester to Dumbarton, cross Stevenson, and go up Stanmore Road. The exact route might vary depending on the weather.

They invite everyone to join them in the caroling. Please bring a flashlight, book light and/or lantern. The organizer will bring copies of carols. Fun!

It's easy to recycle in the city and county

To find out what you can recycle and when it gets picked up, visit the recycling sites of Baltimore County or Baltimore City. (~~Did you know they don't recycle pizza boxes or yogurt containers?~~ They do now!)

You can also learn there how to recycle electronics, such as old VCRs, cell phones and computers, which are full of toxins that are best left out of the trash.

Plastic bags can be recycled at most grocery stores, and batteries and compact flourescent bulbs can be recycled at Ikea (the bins are located near the returns counter).
