Here's info from friends of the woman who needs the transplant: "This holiday season we are asking everyone to make the holidays especially hopeful for a Wiltondale mom who needs a bone marrow transplant. If you are between ages 18 and 55, please spare a few minutes to come and get your cheek swabbed to be put on the bone marrow registry on Saturday, January 5th from 8:30 to 5:30 at Towson Presbyterian Church (Chesapeake and Central in West Towson). Being a bone marrow donor these days is a much simpler process and YOU might save a life. If you are unable to be a donor, you can still come to the drive and buy some raffle tickets or make a financial donation, which helps to cover the cost of the testing for others. Tell your neighbors and bring your adult children - we'll see you there!"
