The Idlewylde Facebook page is reporting three armed robberies in Anneslie today, including the robbery at Walgreens noted in the prior post.
"Please be aware that there have been 3 armed robberys this afternoon. First at Walgreens around 1:30pm - elderly lady robbed at gunpoint. My neighbor's daughter's were walking home from Dumbarton School around 3:15 - 3:30pm and a tall, thin, African-American male with jeans and a dark hoodie asked the girls what time it was. Then he told them he had a gun and demanded their phones. All three ran away. This happened in the 700 block of Regester on the north side of the street. I have heard that there was a 3rd armed robbery in a home on the 700 block of Dunkirk shortly thereafter. Please be careful and spread the news. Police are patroling the area."
