Harris Teeter might move to fire station space in Towson

Read about it in the Sun. (This is the fire station that was going to take the place of Towson Manor park but is now being relocated to the corner of Towsontown Boulevard and Bosley Avenue.) This seems like kind of a small plot of land for a big grocery store and parking lot, but maybe it's bigger than it looks.

What do you think? Would a Harris Teeter be a plus for the area?

It's easy to recycle in the city and county

To find out what you can recycle and when it gets picked up, visit the recycling sites of Baltimore County or Baltimore City. (~~Did you know they don't recycle pizza boxes or yogurt containers?~~ They do now!)

You can also learn there how to recycle electronics, such as old VCRs, cell phones and computers, which are full of toxins that are best left out of the trash.

Plastic bags can be recycled at most grocery stores, and batteries and compact flourescent bulbs can be recycled at Ikea (the bins are located near the returns counter).
