Bomb squad called to Heathfield Road

Someone set off some sort of homemade explosive inside a two-liter soda bottle on Heathfield Road in between Regester and Murdock. Three police cars responded and are now at the scene waiting for the county's bomb squad to arrive to determine how hazardous the liquid is that's in the street. A neighbor said it sounded like a "loud bang, not like a gunshot or a car backfiring." There were no reports of injuries.
