Thieves stealing lawn furniture and more

Towson Police say: Within in the past week two burglaries were reported in the Charles Street and Bellona Ave area (south of the Hospitals) where the homeowners reported heavy concrete ornamental urns or baskets being removed from their yards.  The baskets were actually cut from atop the pillars supporting them.
A third case has also been reported within the past couple days in this same area where the homeowner discovered two white male subjects, one possibly 35-45 years of age, operating a silver pick-up truck attempting to steal lawn furniture at 3:30 in the morning.
In all these cases the person/s responsible have to have used some type of power tools and trucks to remove these large, heavy, bulky items thus we are asking you once again to alert your community members to be observant of any activities in your neighborhoods and call 9-1-1 when any activity could be construed as suspicious or criminal.
As we get more information on these type of crimes we'll pass it along to you so that you may in turn notify your neighbors.
Thank you,
Sgt Stephen Fink,
2815  PC06 COT
